When attempting to search for a contract in the Search Template and Contracts window,
an error occurs.
Enter a short description to search on and window hangs.
Nothing happens until session is killed.
Known situations: Database is upgraded from 10g to 11g. It works on 10g database and also with R12 and on 11g database, but with 11i and 11g database this issue occurs.

The error is most likely in the form or the metadata definition. Please check the following alert for the error code.
APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 1000 in audfrm
Cause: audfrm failed due to ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded.
The SQL statement being executed at the time of error was:
&SQLSTMT and was executed from the file &ERRFILE.
Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Service Contracts Responsibility.
Use the torch to open the Search Template and Contracts window.
Query for a contract (short description) and error shows.
