R12: Cannot Close Accounting Period In Oracle Recevables Module: Partial Merge (Doc ID 1271104.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to close the period the following error occurs:

APP-AR-294571: The 11-2010 cannot be closed due to some unprocessed accounting events or untransferred journal entries.

Executing create accounting completes normal and with the output :

There are no eligible transactions to account. Please update the parameters or submit the request at a later time when there are transactions requiring accounting.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Execute the "Create Accounting" concurrent Program, the concurrent completes without problem.
2. Open/Close transaction periods
