What Is The Expected Behavior For Pre And Post Tax Elements With a Total Reached Stop Rule? (Doc ID 1271894.1)

Need information regarding the Total Owed Stop Rule functionality for Pre-Tax Deductions, Voluntary Deductions and Involuntary Deductions.

Voluntary Deductions appear to behave differently than Pre-Tax Deductions and Involuntary Deductions when a Total Owed value is entered.

The elements behave differently when:

1. The employee is terminated: the pretax element does not deduct the remaining balance but the post tax element does.

2. The total owed is reached. The pretax element end dates on the pay period end date of the period in which the 'Total Owed' is reached, the post tax element end dates on the pay period end date of the following period.

Is this expected behavior and if so, why? Also, is there documentation available re: the differences in how pre tax and post tax work with total owed stop rule?
