Symptoms

General Ledger (GL) posted journals with a "Standard" Journal Type can be changed to Journal Type "Average" and saved.

They can then be changed back to Journal Type "Standard", which allows the Effective Date field to be changed too.

Finally, unposted journals allow the Journal Type field to be changed from "Standard" to "Average". Average journals are not enabled for this ledger.


Steps to Reproduce
  1. GL Super User (or GL entry) responsiblity
  2. Journals>>Enter.
  3. Query up subledger posted journal.
  4. Change Journal Type from Standard to Average.
  5. Save
