11i/R12: iStore Logout Link Is Not logging users out of the iStore application (Doc ID 1273145.1)

When an iStore user chooses the Logout link and then opens a new browser session the previous details appear as if they are still logged in.  The Logout link is not logging users out of the iStore application.

--Expected Behaviour

The user should be logged out of the system once they choose the Logout button and close the browser.
When a new browser session is opened then the user should have to login again.


1) Login to an iStore minisite (specialty site)
2) Close the browser
3) Open new browser session
4) Click the Logout button

The user is still logged in the system and can see the Logout displayed as opposed to Login button.

-Business Impact

Due to this issue, users are remaining in the system, so security is not being enforced.
