Can Item Instance Transaction History be Migrated to Install Base ? (Doc ID 1274909.1)

While migrating legacy data to Install Base, if user wants to create instance transaction history records in csi_item_instances_h table for instances, how can that be done ?  Is there an API that supports this?

For example, there is one Item that has about 716 associated install base history transactions (inventory moves, Subinventory transfers, receipts, processing etc.) in the legacy application from a period of 10-12 years ago. When doing an Install Base conversion user wants to create 1 Install Base instance (i.e. record count in csi_item_instances = 1) and 716 install base history records (i.e. record count in csi_item_instances_h = 716).

Can this be done using the Install Base Open Interfaces or any other way?
