AFPCOA Failed Due to Error While Using Wfload (Doc ID 1275129.1)

Symptoms

WFLOAD errors whilst running the following command:

$ WFLOAD <USERNAME> = apps /password = <PASSWORD> 0 Y UPLOAD /home/<SERVICE NAME>/HR_PRAV.wft

Error:

APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 12705 in AFPCOA

Cause: AFPCOA failed due to Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12705

 

SQL*Loader-282 errors when invoking sqlldr. One gets the error ORA-12705 when invoking sqlplus. Check the permissions on the /ocommon/nls/admin/data directory and make sure the user running these utilities can read these directories. If one cannot read these directories,one cannot load the nls data.
