Incorrect URL Being Generated When Running the Shipment Link Report (Doc ID 1277122.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Transportation Intelligence - Version to 6.2.0 [Release 5.5 to 6.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a new OTM instance is created by cloning the database of an existing OTM instance, problems have been reported with the URL being generated for some reports in Fusion Transportation Intelligence ( FTI ).

An example of one of these reports would be the Shipment GID Link report.

1. To run the report go to Transportation Intelligence > Ad Hoc Query
2. Once the screen appear click on the Fusion Transportation Intelligence link on the left side of the screen.
3. Click on Shipment Analysis > OLTP Shipments > Shipment GID Link and Display Results

The report generates a URL link to access the shipment in the OTLP database. The URL should be for the new OTM instance, but may be showing the URL of the OTM instance where the clone was taken from.

These issues could be caused by system administrators creating a new OTM instance from a database clone or pointing an exiting OTM instance at a new database.
