Inventory Material Transactions Open Interface Failing with Error "The source project information is invalid" for Imported Miscellaneous Receipt Transaction (Doc ID 1287773.1)

Symptoms

Find stuck Miscellaneous receipt transaction(s) in the transactions open interface (table MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE) with the following errors in the request log of the Inventory transaction worker (INCTCW) when Inventory debug mode is enabled.

The problem occurs with imported transactions only, eg it does not occur with similar transactions entered manually through the application form.
Transaction type is Miscellaneous receipt, Account alias receipt, or similar user defined transaction type.

Steps
1. Populate the open interface table with a Miscellaneous receipt transaction
2. Get the transaction picked by the material transactions interface manager
3. Once the Inventory transaction worker completes, review the results in the Open Interface Transactions form

4. Query the records
5. See the reported error for above created record
