How to Apply a Combined Credit Limit Across Multiple Customers? (Doc ID 1288328.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Your requirement is to apply a combined credit limit to multiple customers, meaning that one credit limit profile for (say) 100$ should be applied to the sum of the Credit Exposure for two or more Customers,
(Credit limit of Customer A + Credit limit of customer B should be $100)

Presently the functionality is that a credit limit using a profile can be applied to individual customers only.

This situation can come about when the client has different franchise locations having different tax codes.
Each of the franchise locations is a separate customer, but the Bill-to Location remains the same for all the customers, and the credit limit should therefore be cumulative for all these franchise stores.
