Information in this document applies to any platform.
After upgrade from 12.0.4 to 12.1.3 the Use last folder location on FSG report submission is not being updated.
This is shown via the following steps that can be replicated:
Navigate to FSG report submission via Report manager
enter report name, period
use default template
next to storage location
use last is shown as Reports Repository > Example > 2010 > 10 . Oct > Example Flash Report Oct YTD
or option to select new
select new is selected
open reports repository directory (expand it)
open Example subdirectory (expand it)
select existing directory - example Custom Folder *****
enter report name Flash Rep (report selected to publish is FSG report named Example Flash Report (for period 12-10))
create a menu item - unchecked
close this window
go to applications view request
see requests have completed without error
Navigate now back to the report manager menu - Submit Financial Report
Select same report Example Flash Report for submission again (same period), same exact submission parameters.
Location use last is Reports Repository > Example > 2010 > 10 . Oct > Example Flash Report Oct YTD
the new directory that was submitted during the last publish is not reflected in this directory.
Expection is that the last directory and report name used be shown as the use last option which is not occurring - this is not being updated.
Business Impact - Have to choose manually the directory each time instead of the one step submission to allow the over write or an existing FSG file.
Workaround - to manually select the folder and report name (slower process)
Upgrade to 12.1.2 or higher.
