Symptoms

The Approve button is not enabled for a reversal journal in a secondary ledger.

  1. Select a journal in the secondary ledger for reversal.
  2. Reverse the journal.
  3. Find the reversal journal.
  4. The 'Approve' button is not available, instead, you will find the 'Post' button available.
  5. Click on the 'Post' button, the posting status becomes 'Error18 - Showing unapproved journal batch'
