Cannot Find An Expression For Use In "Performance Measure" In Formula (Doc ID 1292688.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Incentive Compensation - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The following testcase shows the scenario where we want to :

1. Compensate salesreps based on the annualized performance.

For example, we are up to Feb in 2011 and here are the sum(transaction_amount) for
Jan and Feb for a salesrep:

Period Period_ID Sum(Transaction_amount)
==================================================
JAN-2011 2011001 $10000
FEB-2011 2011002 $20000

The annualized transaction amount for the salesrep is :

= ($10000 + $20000) * 12 / 2
= $180000

We want to use $180000 in the Input Expression to get the commission rate
given to the salesrep.

2. The "Total Sales Credit" in the Earnings Statement Report is coming from the Performance
Measure.    However, you found not all expressions are available in the LOV for Performance
    Measure.

In this case, you may build an expression calling a Customised Database Function
to retrieve the information and use it in the Performance Measure.
