Item Instance Status Changes To Expired (Doc ID 1294785.1)

Symptoms


When user changes the Status of of an Item Instance to 'Return for Replacement', provides an end date and saves, the Status changes to Expired.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the Status to remain as 'Return for Replacement'

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Query up item instance
2. Change Status to 'Return for Replacement' and provide End Date such as sysdate.
3. Select apply. Query item instance back up with Advanced Search and it shows Status as 'Expired'.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot maintain the status that is manually entered when terminating the instance.
