R12: EBTax: Issue With Tax Registration Number While Setting A Supplier In AP Which Is Already A Customer In AR (Doc ID 1296062.1)

On 12.X in Production:
When attempting to create a supplier with the same tax registration number, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
'This tax registration number is already in use for party type: Third Party and party name: <customer name> for the same period.'

Due to this issue, users cannot create a supplier with the same tax registration number.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Suppliers:
- Trying to create a new supplier:
- Entered a Tax Registration Number

Error:
'This tax registration number is already in use for party type: Third Party and party name: <Customer name >for the same period.'
