Many OKL Invalid Objects after Applying Patches

Symptoms
After applying patches you find numerous invalid "OKL" objects in your instance This can occur even if you do not use the Lease and Finance Management (OKL) application.
You may see one of these as the cause for many of the invalids:
"PLS-00905: object APPS.OKL_AM_UTIL_PVT is invalid"
"PLS-905: object APPS.OKL_AM_UTIL_PVT is invalid"
Trying to compile OKL_AM_UTIL_PVT you may get this error:
okl_execute_formula_pub.g_additional_parameters_null PLS-00382:expression is of wrong type
Changes
The list of patches that can cause this issue is fairly broad. It may be an issue in R12 as well, but this has not been verified.
