R12 Splitting Sales Order SO Lines Triggers Reschedule Changing Schedule Ship Date OEXOEORD.FMB (Doc ID 1299078.1)

Symptoms


On : 12.1.2 version, Scheduling and Sourcing

Find that in R12, when user splits a line with a schedule ship date in the past, both the original line and the split lines get rescheduled with the sysdate. In 11i instance, when user splits a line, the original schedule ship date is retained.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
In R12, expect to split a line manually and have the original schedule ship dates retained, as in current 11i instance.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. From Order Management Responsibility > Orders, Returns > Order Organizer
2. Query existing sales order with schedule ship date in the past.
3. Manually split the line, only changing the qty.
4. Note the schedule ship date for both the split from and split to lines get changed to sysdate.

Follow the same procedure in 11i and original schedule ship date gets retained for both the split from and split to lines.
