Reserve Summary and Reserve Detail Report Show Out Of Balance Assets After Retiring an Asset (Doc ID 1302004.1)

Symptoms

The Reserve Summary (FASRSVES) and Reverse Detail (FASRSVED) reports shows out of balance assets.  There is an * mark after the ending balance of the assets.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Retire an asset in the current period
2. Run Calculate Gains and Losses (without running depreciation)
3. Run Create Accounting to create the accounting entries for the retirement transaction
4. Run the Reserve Summary or the Reserve Detail reports
 
The output of the Reserve detail report shows the retired asset out of balance and (*) mark exists after the ending balance value. The beginning balance equals the ending balance and the retirement reserve amount exists in the retirement column.
