Error in iStore Order Details Page when Using a Custom Region Item (Doc ID 1305867.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to view the details of an order in Order Tracker page, it shows the standard "Application Error" page, the following error is shown in the log

java.lang.NullPointerException

at _ibeCOtdOrdDtlMain._jspService(_ibeCOtdOrdDtlMain.java:5556)

at oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageTable.service(JspPageTable.java:390)

--Steps

1. Create a new region attribute
XXX_IBE_OD_CANCEL_DTL_CHK
VARCHAR2

2. Assign it to region IBE_ORD_DTL_R (it can be any iStore region)
Attribute Type: Attribute
Application: iStore
Attribute Name: SAB_IBE_OD_CANCEL_DTL_CHK
Sequence: 1800
Item Style: Text
Node Display: [checked]

3. Then go to iStore Customer UI and placed an order

4. Go to order tracker and clicked on the order link
