On release 12:

When attempting to set the secondary unit of measure (UOM) conversion low deviation factor to more than 100%, the following error is raised in Item form.

This is field "Deviation Factor -" in Main tab of INVIDITM form. It applies to dual UOM controlled items.

Why is this happening?

"FRM-40207: Must be in range 0 to 100."

The issue can be replicated per the following steps:
  1. Select the Inventory responsibility
  2. Go to Items : Master Items
  3. Create a new item
Set the following in in Main tab, Unit of Measure region:
  Tracking: Primary & Secondary
  Defaulting: No Default
  Deviation Factor +: 100000%
  Deviation Factor -: 100%
  4. See no error is raised
  5. Override "Deviation Factor -" to 101%
  6. Getting the following message at the bottom:
"FRM-40207: Must be in range 0 to 100."

Business impact
Due to this restriction, users cannot implement dual UOM control for items with very high UOM conversion deviation.
