Send/Modify/Withdraw Dispatch Messages Going Out Even When The Driver --> Power Association Expired (Doc ID 1315478.1)

Last updated on APRIL 23, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fleet Management - Version 6.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On OTM Version 6.1

When the User sends dispatch message via actions, messages are successfully processed and sent out to the device despite the driver power association has expired.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

----------------------------

The message should not be sent as the association has expired.

STEPS TO REPLICATE

___________________

1.Create Order via Order Management > Order Release > Order Release
2.Create Buy Shipment from order above via Actions> Create Buy Shipment > Direct
3.Send Dispatch via:
Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments > Actions > Fleet
Management > Driver Dispatch > Send Dispatch.

In the test case there is an attempt to send message to QUEUE which results in
a error. In the environment we do not have a QUEUE configured for OTM to send
to, nevertheless the power is expired so it should not attempt to send to QUEUE.

<IMessageText>CAUGHT THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION WHILE PROCESSING TRANSMISSION
