GTM Product Classification Code Auto Changing To Upper Case In Product Classification Code Search Field. (Doc ID 1318680.1)

When attempting to search for specific Product Classification code, the value entered is changed to uppercase. The client is expecting the value to stay as entered as there is mixed case stored in the database for this field. Due to this issue, a valid result cannot be returned.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into OTM.
2. Go to Trade Master Data --> Power Data --> Product Classification --> Product Classification Code.
3. In the field Product Classification Code type in 5A002.a.4.
4. Click the TAB button.
5. Note 5A002.a.4 is changed to 5A002.A.4.
6. Because of this, valid results are not returned as they are inserted into the database with a lower case a.
