On : 12.1.1 version, Assignment,Term,Pay,ChgMgr,LOA
When attempting to terminate a Manager on the same day the direct reports were terminated, the following message appears.
"You can assign all Direct reports to the same new manager or make individual manager assignments below."
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. To terminate the employee:
a. Responsibility: Manager Self Service>> Termination
b. Click on the action for the employee who need to be terminated.
c. Enter the Effective Date and hit " Continue"
d. Enter the Termination reason, Comments/Termination Details and Rehire Eligibility and click "Next"
e. The Page shows the detail for the Termination and the HR approvers. Click Submit. it sends the request for approval to the approver(s). Once the approver(s) complete the request, the employee is terminated.
For the employee everything works fine and there is no issue.
2. To terminate the Supervisor:
a. Please follow step a to d listed above. Even though all the employees of the supervisor have been terminated, it is still asking to reassign Direct reports to a new manger.
