Clicking Link In Email Throws Error: The Requested Report Is No Longer Available (Doc ID 1322786.1)

Goal

When clicking the link to a report linked via a notification email (scheduled via the report manager), an error is displayed:
"The requested report is no longer available."

Since these are now embedded reports, what is the default lifetime? And how can this be changed?
