PROBLEM SUMMARY :

This is an EBusiness R12.1.2 environment(upgraded from EBS 11.5.10.2 ).

The current version of each tier is : DB 11.1.0.7, tools 10.1.2.3.0 and java 10.1.3.4.0.
and this is the first time CPU patches will have been applied to the R12 environment.

As a pre-req for patch have downloaded and installed patch 6880880 so that OPatch in the tools oracle_home is version 1.0.0.0.63 (it was previously 1.0.0.0.57).

Ran  /use/sbin/slibclean

After calling opatch apply,  got a message saying this patch conflicts with existing patch 7379122.

Chose to continue.

Soon after confirming the home was ready for updating, the following below error occurred :

ld: 0706-006 Cannot find or open library file: -l java
ld:open(): A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
ld: 0706-006 Cannot find or open library file: -l jvm
ld:open(): A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 255.

Changes
