Symptoms

In E-Business Suite 12.1.1, follow Note 384248.1 "Sharing The Application Tier File System in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12" to configure an existing multi-node installation with non-shared application file system to use a shared application tier file system.

There is a problem with this note due to the sequence in which the steps are documented.

To migrate to a shared system the following steps are required :

1. Update the context file variables as per Section 1 on the Primary node
2. Enable the share
3. Add the new nodes by cloning the context file from the Primary node
4. Run AutoConfig on the new added nodes
