Inventory On Hand Material Status in R12.1: A Topical Essay (Doc ID 1325494.1)

Purpose

Since Release 12.1.1, there is a change in the way you can track inventory statuses: You can still choose to track on-hand material status at the Subinventory, Locator, Lot, or you can activate Control at On-hand balance levels.

This new feature, called "On-hand Material Status" feature in Oracle Inventory is equivalent to the Lot Status feature in Oracle Process Manufacturing Inventory module (as used in OPM release 11i).

The attached presentation discusses this feature, and provides a functional overview, tables involved, and some troubleshooting steps and references.

Scope

The goal of this presentation is to familiarize Inventory users with the On-Hand Material Status functionality re introduced in R12.1.1
