Posting Issue: Unable To Post Upgraded AX Receipt Due to Missing Rows in XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS

After upgrade from AX to XLA, unable to process receipt reversal against receipts that were created prior to R12 upgrade.
The receipt does not appear in error in the Create Accounting Report Output
(A) The logfile may show the following event warning (but this is not always the case): The following REVERSAL events could not be processed. The event/process status is U/U: Note: this warning may be ignored for any events whose ledger is a cash-basis ledger Event 123456 of ledger 1 Event 123456 of ledger 2
(B) The only warning in the Create Accounting Report Output is: Message Number Message 95937 There are either non-accountable events existing in the system, or events which could not be processed because no data could be found on transaction objects. Please enable the profile option SLA: Enable Diagnostics,create accounting again, and run the report Transaction Objects Diagnostics to identify the problem.
(C) As indicated by the Create Accounting report, please enable the profile option SLA: Enable Diagnostics,create accounting again, and run the report Transaction Objects Diagnostics to identify the problem. The created output file will list the Item, event_type and event_id causing the issue Event Class Name = RECEIPT Event Type Name = RECP_REVERSE Transaction Number = 1111 Event Number = 123456
(D) Running the Receipt Diagnostic script reveals that for the upgraded AX activity, rows exist in xla_events, xla_ae_headers, xla_ae_lines, BUT are missing in xla_distribution_links.
