Goal
When upgrading from 11i to R12, System Administrators will need to migrate 11i system security key to R12 wallet if Credit Card Encryption patch 4607647 was applied and data encryption was enabled in 11i. In this case, post upgrade, we need to migrate 11i security key stored in fnd_vault table (used in 11i encryption architecture) to payments wallet (used to store security key in R12).
This note provides detailed steps to accomplish these objectives.
Note: If you need to rotate encryption wallet and security key periodically as part of regular maintenance and/or pci compliance requirements, please refer to 1300956.1.
