R12: XLA: The Accounts Payable Trial Balance Report For Reporting Currency / Secondary Ledger Shows Difference Between the GL Balance And Remaining Amount
(Doc ID 1331701.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Payables - Version 12.0.0 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.0 to 12.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On application version 12.1.2 after creating the Open Balances Account Definition for reporting currency (RC) Payables, the report is yielding the following issue:
- The GL Balance and the Remaining Amount values differ slightly on the level of cents. For example, account XXXX.0000.0000.XXXXX.000000.0000.00.0000 shows GL Balance of -1020225.62 and Remaining Amount of -1020225.68, a difference of 0.06
The primary ledger report is cent perfect. Don't expect this to be rounding as this report supposedly runs off the XLA tables that populate the GL tables.
Running the APTBRPT version of the AP TB.
Expectation
The GL Balance and the Remaining Amount values should be equal on the APTB report for the RC ledger.
