Goal

This note highlights various considerations when running eBusiness suite with a load balancer and SSL Passthrough

What is SSL Passthrough?
SSL Passthrough is the configuration of a load balancer device in a manner where it neither decrypts nor re-encrypts SSL, instead forwarding the SSL traffic and connection directly to the backend server. In this setup only the applications tier runs SSL, the load balancer is not configured to offload or run SSL.
