Symptoms

On the production environment, a SO line remains "Not ready to release" in the Transaction form after a Release Sales Order while the SO line status is awaiting shipping.

The line workflow shows the following error:

Error: Inventory - Delete Reservation has failed with Error : BOM CTO_INVALID_ACTIVITY_STATUS
Workflow activity Ship has failed. Please fix the errors and retry the activity from the Order Form or the Workflow Monitor.
An internal error occurred while creating a Work Order for the configuration item.
Action: Contact your Oracle support representative.
