PLS-00323: subprogram or cursor 'SERIAL_NUMBER_CONTROL_CODE' When Compiling CSF_DEBRIEF_PVT (Doc ID 1337429.1)

Symptoms

Having applied Patch:12383227:R12.CSF.B 12.1.3+ ADV DEBRIEF CHANGES' to a 12.1.3 instance, it was not possible to open the Debrief screen without generating the following error:


java.sql.SQLException: ORA-04063: package body "APPS.CSF_DEBRIEF_PVT" has errors ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called. "APPS.CSF_DEBRIEF_PVT" ORA-06512: at line 1



Looking for invalid objects in the database, using the command:

select owner, object_name
from dba_objects
where status = 'INVALID'
order by object_name


returned the invalid object: CSF_DEBRIEF_PVT

When attempting to re-compile the libraries related to this object the following error was generated:

Errors for PACKAGE BODY :CSF_DEBRIEF_PVT

ERROR

PLS-00323: subprogram or cursor 'SERIAL_NUMBER_CONTROL_CODE' is
declared in a package specification and must be defined in the package body



Due to this issue, users cannot complete the debrief using the HTML screen.
