General Ledger, release R12.1 versions
*** Patches are current as of 24-MAR-2014 ***
Purpose
The objective of this bulletin is to provide an illustrative list of General Ledger Intercompany (AGIS) bug fixes issued for Releases 12.1.x .
Please note that controlled patches (the patches that require password to download) are not included. Included are only the patches which are available for download from My Oracle Support at the date of last review.
Some issues verified in AGIS may have the root cause in defects of other products/modules and therefore the corresponding patches may not be included in this document.
Scope
This is meant for support services as well as customers using R12.1.x versions.
- The column "Patch #" shows important patches in bold and "Recommended by Development" patches in Red. This is neither a list of pre-requisite patches nor they should be applied pro-actively, i.e. not to be applied unless encountering the exact issue for which the patch has been released. Exceptions are the recommended patches marked in red.
- Certain pre-requisites or required conditions may exist for each of these patches. Hence, before a patch is applied, review carefully the readme file for pre or post requisites. This is easily accessed using the link in the "Patch Abstract".
All patches should be tested on a test instance before promoting to production. - The column "Fixed in release" shows the lowest release that includes the fix in the base code. If you already have that release installed then you should not have that same problem or install that patch.
To help confirm that you may have the same issue as described in a patch, please compare the file versions provided by the patch with the file versions currently installed on your system.
You can easily get the installed versions of FUN files using the RDA diagnostics report for application short name = FUN (see <Document 732091.1>). - The column "Suggested Replacement Patch" shows patches that also provide the fix in a higher version of the file, therefore probably including other fixes. These are shown as alternative patches, not necessarily replacement or mandatory patches.
