Symptoms


When attempting to schedule a dock appointment when the location resource auto schedule is unchecked, the following error occurs:

ERROR

Error: Unable to save
: HAS CONFLICT WITH EXISTING OR STANDING APPOINTMENT RESERVED FOR OTHERS


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Setup:
1. Create a resource on a Location which does not have Auto Schedule
Checked.

To Replicate:
1. Log into OTM 6.2.
2. Go to Operational Planning --> Appointment Management --> Dock and Yard Managers.
3. Search for Location KDEST.
4. Select Location "KDEST" and Click on Actions --> Manage Appointments.
5. Input created Shipment 01405, wipe out date and click Search.
6. Highlight shipment.
7. Click and drag to an empty Pickup slot in the Manual grid. (I did MAN1 13:00).
8. Click Save.
9. Note the error shown above the grid:
