Orders With Ship Set Flag Are Getting Automatically Scheduled.

We set a profile option OM: Assign new set for each line to 'Y' from NULL.
We then assigned 'Ship' to two order types.
This new profile option and setting caused any orders that were set to use SHIP SETS (either on the customer setup OR order type setup) to AUTO Schedule orders. This is causing a big issue.
We have since reverted this out, however we would like to use this functionality.
Is there any information/setup that we missed?
