NullPointer Exception While Deleting Appraisals From Employee Self-Service

When attempting to delete an appraisal,
the following error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Delete the user level profile value for "FND: Diagnostics" and
"Personalize Self-Service Defn".
2. Login as the employee -> Select responsibility Employee Self-Service
3. Select Appraisals
4. Delete an appraisal , see the error

On providing a user level value for the above profiles, this error does not occur.
Expected Behavior :
Error should not come.
