Unable To Move/Transact Serialized Products. No Data In Serial Interface/Temp Tables

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to move/transact serialized products the following error occurs.
"Ex. in Serial Number retrieveSerNum".
The error message at the bottom lefthand side (status) of the form is "FRM: 40734".
The serial number is available in the list of values; however, the system does not allow us select.
When you use the interface, the error message is "Ex. in Serial Number retrieveSerNum".
