This note is to give steps of obtaining the complete Java Error Stack for the errors returned when configuring Java Mailer using Oracle Applications Manager (OAM)
When configuring Java Mailer using the Java Mailer configuration Wizard in OAM, short errors messages are sometimes returned such as:
- Validation error occurred. Please check indicated fields below
- Unable to connect to the mail account. check the host,username and password
- Connect refused
These type of errors are usually without any further details to enable further troubleshooting.
