Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Interest Invoices are used to collect late charges on overdue invoices, a receipt method is automatically defaulted into the Interest Invoice created.

The presence of a receipt method in the Interest Invoice causes it to be included in the Automatic Receipts process, which causes unexpected drafting of payments.
