Last updated on SEPTEMBER 04, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Applications Manager - Version 11.5.10.2 to 11.5.10.2 [Release 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After adding an additional web server on another node B, all the URLs accessing Oracle Applications from your web browser are getting redirected to the Web Node B, no matter whether you access the applications from Web node A or Web node B.
Steps to reproduce:
--------------------
1. Add a new Web node B to an existing System by following <Note 230672.1>
at "Section 4.4: Adding a new Node to an existing System"
a. Run adcfgclone.pl.
b. Run adaddnode.pl.
2. Access the original existing web URL on web node A.
3. Input the username and password to login.
4. It will be redirected to the new web URL on web node B.
However, what’s expected is:
When accessing the Applications from the web browser, half applications users can access it from web node A URL and half users can access it from web node B URL to reduce the workload of web server.
