Symptoms

When attempting to Change customer on a quote, the following error occurs for specific customers.

Error

Ship to Party is not a valid contact for Party.


Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Responsibility: Oracle Quoting
  2. Navigation: Quote
  3. Update Quote - Actions > Change customer
  4. Select a specific customer  for the new customer
  5. Receive Error.  This error can also occur for bill-to contact.
