Goal

Note:
Oracle Forms allow for personalization without re-programming the Source Code, however please note that these Personalizations are considered as "Customization", and need to be tested thoroughly before implementing into Production.

The steps provided here is strictly for information purposes only. If issues are encountered while implementing, Oracle Support will attempt to assist but is not obligated to provide a solution.

Users have the need to create a context-sensitive DFF in the Customers page, meaning specific DFF context would automatically be selected based on the account number being the reference field.

This was very straight-forward in 11i, where you could simply use the BLOCK.FIELD for a reference.

Are reference/context-sensitive DFFs possible in the OA/HTML pages? And is there a straight-forward way to build them?
