Location Integration Fails Without Corporation Specified In XML (Doc ID 1360644.1)

Symptoms

Contrary to former versions, from 6.2 onwards it is no longer necessary to enter a Parent Location (i.e. Corporation) when creating a new location via the UI.
However, when uploading a location via integration, the transmission errors out when no corporation is specified in the XML:

IMessageCode = MISSING_REQUIRED_ELEMENT
IMessageText = THE REQUIRED ELEMENT Location.ParentLocationGid or
Location.Corporation IS MISSING
