Purpose

 How to troubleshoot the common issues related to Printing of Financial Statement Generator(FSG) ?

 

Many times the Standard reports get printed fine while the FSG reports give error.
This Note will help in identifying such issues and will help in troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting Steps
 1. APP-01364: Cannot submit your concurrent request
 2. FSG defaults to a specific print style no matter how the print style parameter is set.
 3. Failed to get print style with dimensions - is seen in the logfile.
 4. Erroneous (Garbage) Messages Appear On FSG Output upon printing the FSG report. When you view the report online, you do not see these characters.
 5. APP-01294: AFPPRN received a return code of failure from routine FDUPRN
   APP-01000: Error appending file/data/6b/Previous Messages (for Support Purposes)
   APP-01000: Error appending file /data/6b/common/T107/out/aaaaaa.xxx to file /usr
   APP-00406: No message explanation found for message '&MESSAGE?
 6. This SRS request has failed to submit your FSG request. Error is seen when you submit the FSG via the Standard Report Submission form
(Reports/Request/Standard - Program - Run Financial Statement Generator).
 7. APP-00806: Default value xxxxxxxx are invalid for the row set id segment, your default value will be ignored. Please inform sysadmin to add xxxxxxxxx to the
value set segment row set id or choose another default value in the key flexfieldforms or descriptive flexfield segment form. History: Value XXXXX are invalid.
 8. APP-09152 seen in the logfile-(No error message explanation listed)
 9. APP-01243: & routine can not print the output file for your concurrent request.
 10. Only 1 line of the FSG is printing. You may see this for other spawned reports also.
 11. Printed report is wrapping at 80 characters.
