Asset Type Field Is Null In Pm Definition Form After R12.1.3 Upgrade (Doc ID 1366001.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Asset Definition

On the PM Definition form, the Asset Type field is displayed as null. The LOV have both values in it and you can choose the value but when you save. it does not save the changes. This happens to both the converted PM Definition and new PM Definitions.

Asset Type field should be displayed as NULL for converted PM definition and new PM definitions.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. EAM - Preventive Maintenance - Schedule Definition.

2. Select any eam org when prompted (in this example BLK was used)

Query an asset number and Select the find button.

3. Select one of the records and select the Open button.

4. When the record is displayed, notice the Asset Type Field is null
