In R12, Activities Button In iReceivables Failing With Error java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 1366452.1)

Symptoms

In iReceivables, when you click the Activities button, the application fails with the error:

"You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance. Click here for exception details."  The java error shows:
