Nulling out Task Assignee Results in a Hard Delete of Task Assignment (Doc ID 1367295.1)

Last updated on JULY 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Teleservice - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In the SR form task tab, when the task assignee field is nulled out, the task assignment record is deleted (along with all the child objects such as audit records).

If the task assignee is updated from A to B, the task assignment of A is not deleted, but changed in status. SR Form should treat the nulling out of an assignee the same as a reassignment instead of a delete so that the audit
record is preserved.

1) Create SR
2) Create task
3) Assign task to XX
4) Check the task assignment audit
5) Now clear out the assignment field.
6) Check the task assignment audit. The history of XX is gone.
