Contracting Officer Field Values Not Displayed in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) (Doc ID 1372015.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When auto-creating an award from a requisition, you are unable to select a user for the Contracting Officer field. The only value in the Contracting Officer lookup that populates is the Buyer/Owner of the Award.

The Contracting Officer field should display all Contracting Officers and should default the one assigned to the User on CLM Purchasing Defaults.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility:  CLM Purchasing Super User

2. (N) -> Buyer Work Center -> Requisitions

3. AutoCreate Award from Requisition using Document Builder
3.1 Click Create Button

The Contracting Officer field displays as blank and when attempting add a value, the only value that displays is the Buyer user name.
