Assign Equipment Triggered From Tracking Agent Not Updating Shipment (Doc ID 1372164.1)

Symptoms

The agent action "ASSIGN EQUIPMENT" is not assigning the equipment that is specified on the Tracking Event to the Shipment when it is executed from a Tracking Event Agent.

Example:

The following Tracking Event Agent is configured:

Event: TRACKING EVENT - PROCESSING REQUEST: ESTIMATED DEPARTURE
Action: MATCH SHIPMENT: By Shipment ID (tracking event to SHIPMENT) ASSIGN EQUIPMENT

- Create a shipment
- Set the shipment to secure resources and accepted
- Create a tracking event (from the shipment UI – can be done via the tracking event screen):

On main tab:
Enter the Responsible Party
Status: stop activity/estimated departure
Populate an event date/time

- Go to the equipment tab
- Create a new equipment
- Populate the equipment for the equipment ID field
- Save

In the log, one can see that the agent is triggered and the action called, but it does not execute anything.
